So after I finished the Grinch beanie, I moved on to knit a scarf. Last year, I said that I would make stuff for the first five people who replied to my Facebook post. I’m a little behind. I only remember two or three people who said YES PLEASE. And from the people who were from out-of-town, only one person sent me her address. So currently, this scarf is in the mail making its way slowly but surely to Kelly M in Portland, Oregon.
So I bought one skein of this great yarn with a lot of volume and texture–just the kind of yarn that makes a shawl scarf look amazing.
I used really big needles to do a loose knit that would make the texture in the yarn stand out. I also found a few beauties in my button cornucopia that would help accentuate and draw the eye to the asymmetric line on the scarf.
And voila!
Hope there’s something you can sport this with Kelly!
WANT WANT WANT! Can you make and hand-deliver one to Walla Walla?
Gives me an excuse to come and visit you darling! 🙂 Glad that you arrived safely.
