I’ve been really relishing my time off only doing the things that I really want to do. So I’ve been climbing, cooking, catching up on Korean dramas on Netflix, and taking small trips. It’s been a therapeutic and restful break thus far. And I feel like the rest I’ve been taking is more productive than a lot of the things that I’ve done over the years.
One of the greatest things that I’ve rediscovered during this last month is…
Sleep is really something. I forgot how essential a good night of sleep really is to being healthy. And who wouldn’t pay heed to an amazing siesta? At this point, I consider myself an official siesta connoisseur and expert. And I can say with great authority that mid afternoon naps are really da bomb.
A lot of people have trouble sleeping. And without enough sleep, your mental and physical health will take a dive–for example, you might be cranky pants or stay sick all the time. Trust me, I know first hand what you’re going through–there’s a lot to deal with in life. So don’t compromise and get enough rest so you can do better.
